Awesome hosts, excellent service and the best breakfast you’ll ever have. We were greeted very warmly upon arrival and the fridge was stocked with fresh fruit, juices and water. the hosts were helpful in recommending various wineries and restaurants to visit. Very good value especially in comparison to other hotels in this area.
Home away from home. Tranquility, comfort and kindness is what you’ll find at 627 on King B&B. this is the 3rd time we stay here and we don’t even bother looking elsewhere since every-time has left us wanting more. Sporting trendy chuck Taylor’s, Maurice never fails to greet with a large smile on his face and insisting you fill out the breakfast request prior to venturing off for the day. You absolutely do not want to miss it. We’ve had the kippers and this time the full English and both are mouth watering and belly bursting as there is so much including the freshest of fruit. Even gluten free bread was accommodated! Any advice, Maurice will have it as he’s a pleasure to talk to. Our room was neat and tidy with everything we needed. June Jacobs soaps, hair dryer, fresh towels. We arrived with little time to prepare for a friends wedding down the road. Torn between driving or taxiing, Maurice kindly offered to drop us off as it was ‘no big deal’. SO THOUGHTFUL!! And truly appreciated as the taxi home cost us $50 and took an hour to show up. Needless to say, you won’t be disappointed.
We return year after year because it is the best b&b in town! The double jacuzzi room is so romantic for our anniversary or Valentine’s day. The breakfast and goodies available in our room at all times is the most convenient system around. We often reach into the fridge for a romantic midnight snack. The decor and ambiance of the room is very special. Rose petals, candles, fire-place, and an early check-in make for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend 627 on King!
